Snakey

Snakey

The 2001 PC classic, reborn for your phone.

Swipe to steer, munch the fruit before its points tick away, chain streaks for Mega Bonuses and grow the longest snake in the garden. Then set off on an adventure through hand-made gardens.

$2.99 one-time purchase

Easy to pick up. Hard to put down.

Swipe to steer

One swipe anywhere turns the snake. Swipe back for a smart U-turn, or chain turns in a single drag.

Quick, it is ticking!

Every fruit starts at 99 points and counts down. Be fast, and the next one is worth even more.

Chain the streaks

Eat again before the streak runs out. Five in a row brings a juicy 555, fifteen a Mega Bonus.

Psst: tap the fruit.

An adventure, garden by garden

Each world has its own look, its own music and its own tricks. Eat the fruit, find the hole, slip in: quick snakes earn three stars. Hover or tap a world to watch one of its levels.

Goodies on the board

The adventure scatters little helpers (and a few troublemakers) around the gardens.

Lucky clover

Saves you from one crash: the snake swerves away instead.

Slow motion

Everything calms down for a while. Breathe, plan, munch.

Turbo

Whoosh! A burst of speed. Hold on to your tail.

Shrink shroom

Too long to turn around? A shroom trims your tail.

Cake

Big points and a big belly. You will be a bit slower for a while.

Portals

In one side, out the other, still going the same way.

…and more

Some gardens hide things we will not spoil here.

Where it all began

Snakey for Windows, 2001

Long before the phone version, Snakey was a little Visual Basic game passed around on download sites. Same rules, same countdown fruit, and a snake that dropped something rather less pleasant than shrooms.
